Associate Territory Manager (St. Louis/Dallas)

Based out of: Central Region (St. Louis, Dallas , or Houston)
The Associate Territory Manager (ATM) will increase sales and customer satisfaction within assigned territory (Central Region). Work with Territory Manager on a daily basis to ensure superior customer service and product use. Strive to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with increasing sales and customer satisfaction by partnering with Territory Managers. Work with Territory Manager on a daily basis to ensure superior customer service and product use. Develop relationships with existing hospitals, labs and customers. Prospect and develop relationships with prospective customers and/or users of BSC Target products, converting them to BSC Target customers. Secure and/or renew existing orders by coordinating product availability, delivery dates, and inventory levels. Maintain open communication lines with current and prospective customers on programs, promotions and pricing trends. Establish, implement and monitor sales and marketing plan for territory based on BSC business objectives and customer needs. Keep current on BSC new products or services being offered and give feedback to the corporate office on market receptivity, concerns or issues learned from the customers. Maintain an ongoing knowledge of competitive product innovations, sales promotions, catalogs and advertising for personal sales effectiveness and corporate market intelligence. Attend industry trade shows as assigned, responsible for show follow up, including a summary report to sales and marketing management, turning in orders, communicating problems for internal follow up, getting leads and sending appropriate follow-up correspondence. Manage territory sales and marketing expense budget to maximize the effectiveness of expenditures. Maintain accurate record of sales expenses, customer files and field sales reports required, communicating required information as needed. This position will assist with physician training and be a liaison between Marketing & Sales to increase communication and effectiveness from the field. Will also participate in Marketing meetings. Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area supported. Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
Requirements:
Minimum education: BS/BA degree or equivalent. Completing MBA preferred.
Minimum experience: 3-5 years in a Fortune 500 company required. Exposure to Training & Development Program would be preferred. Excellent communication and project management skills.
