PROJECT MANAGER II - Service Division

DESCRIPTION:


Wincor Nixdorf the 3rd largest ATM Company in the world is seeking a high energy individual for Project Management in the Service Division. The position is responsible for executing tasks during project pilot, rollout and post-install phases, and participating in customer meetings. Typical projects include hardware refurbishment, store infrastructure surveys and rollouts, and disposal services management.


Project Management:

• Lead integrated planning activities, produce project plans, track and manage project teams from conception through execution of installation activities.

• Interact with external customer and vendors, as well as coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project completion.

• Develop and execute project and resource plans for customer-selected services and internal based field change orders. This may include some or all of the following services; hardware refurbishment, infrastructure survey, infrastructure installation, rollout management, disposal services, maintenance contract startup.

• Track delivery of materials required to complete installations.

• Prepare customer and vendor Statements of Work documents.

• Write and develop Scope of Work documents.

• Demonstrated ability to solve problems, work independently and in teams.

• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrate mid-level leadership and vendor management experience.

• Possess ability to be naturally inquisitive.

• Managing work to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; planning ahead to meet anticipated future situations / issues.


Pre-Sales Support:

• Assist sales managers in providing best methods and services for RFP, RFI customer opportunities.

• Assist in project definition of requirements.

• Obtain quotes from service providers and formulate proposal for customer.



Tasks typically include:

• Checklist verification with our service provider(s)

• Check-in, data management, and QA of project deliverables

• Reporting and escalation of installation exceptions

• Rollout status reporting

• Tracking delivery of materials required to complete an installation

• Some projects may include requirements for vendor or customer training

• Typical projects include one or more of the following services or emphasis areas and may be in retail or banking areas of emphasis:

• Hardware refurbishment (via internal or external service provider)

• Infrastructure surveys

• Infrastructure rollout

• Disposal services management

• Assisting with task list for maintenance contract startup requirements

• Assist with tasks required for vendor or customer training programs

• Validation of service provider invoices to actual work performed

• Participate in customer meetings as needed for status reporting or during project startup planning.

• Occasional work in the field (domestic US) to verify technician instruction sets, perform observation for training purposes, or to perform QA checkpoints of technician or vendor



REQUIREMENTS:


• Minimum five-eight years in a project management rollout capacity with a concentration in retail and/or banking rollouts.

• Minimum of five years of change management experience.

• Education requirements will be considered in conjunction with actual experience. Ideal candidate must hold one or more of the following; technical degree, associate degree, bachelor degree, PMP certification.

• Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Budget experience – accounting support (invoice processing)

• PMI membership desirable.

• High attention to detail tasks, recording, execution and follow-through.

• High proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Solid knowledge of process modeling/mapping techniques, requirements gathering documentation.

• High level of technical problem solving skills and people skills

• High energy position, must be able to multi-task, be a self-starter and re-prioritize tasks involved in completing daily workload

• Must be available to provide off-hours installation support as driven by project assignments.

• Light travel needed for pilot support and customer meetings.
