The Registered Nurse (RN) working in the Operating Room (OR) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients when caring for the patient in the operative setting. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. The RN independently coordinates the perioperative nursing care of the surgical patient and ensures appropriate and safe nursing care in the perioperative environment and when receiving patients from or transferring to other nursing departments.

The new Park City Medical Center will be open for patient care this September and will offer a wide-range of services, including:

The Park City Medical Center is conveniently located at Quinn's Junction in Park City, just off Highway 40.

• Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse which allows you to practice in the state of Utah, or be license eligible.
• Must have a current BLS for health care provider or higher CPR certification.
• Two years experience (within the last two years) working as an Operating Room circulating and/or scrubbings highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
• Demonstrated ability to complete all physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
