Ikaria seeks a highly qualified General Assembler for our device headquarters in Madison, WI.

The General Assembler I reports to the Manufacturing Floor Supervisor and will assemble and test medical device assemblies and accessories using hand/power tools per the manufacturing documentation (drawings, specifications, assembly instructions) provided. This can include positioning, alignment, or adjustment for proper fit; plus inspection, test and proper labeling to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements. Our critical care devices contain complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and product software functionality. All work must be done in compliance with our company quality system and medical device regulations.

Scope of Responsibilities
The General Assembler I is responsible to perform and document all assembly, test, and repair work per established work rules, policies, and procedures. Any exceptions or problems must be reported to his/her supervisor. This person will be responsible for timely, successful completion of all assigned training and will maintain an organized, professional work place respective to the type of products being produced. As a member of the Operations team, he/she will be an active member of the safety program to prevent accidents/injury involving anyone and will safely perform any other work in the facility as required.

Position Requirements:
At least 2 years assembly experience is required. 2+ years of experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment is desired

Education Requirements:
High School diploma
