Southern Crescent Hospital for Specialty Care is located within the host facility, Southern Regional Medical Center, which was established in 1971 to provide high quality medical care to the residents of Clayton County and surrounding communities. Southern Crescent Hospital opened in December 2003. It has a total of 30 long-term acute care beds to provide care to medically complex patients. These patients require extended acute care hospitalization with specialty programs focusing on ventilator dependency, wound care, and rehabilitation.
We have the following HIM Coordinator opening:
High school diploma or equivalent. College level education preferred. Three years medical records experience required. Medical Record office experience required. Excellent computer, written and oral communication skills. RHIT/RHIA strongly preferred.
