JOB SUMMARY:
The Social Worker is expected to apply social work principles and practices, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently to assess the needs of referred children and families. Intervenes in a culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate manner in situations such as observing community violence, impact of trauma on patients and families, family violence, child abuse and neglect, etc., using a variety of treatment modalities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Bilingual Spanish- English required - For those who meet this specific requirement, this position is eligible for some Relocation costs, Sign on Bonus and Referral bonus. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: California License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Experience working in a medical setting
Experience working with multi-ethnic populations
Experience working with a pediatric population

JOB SUMMARY:

In addition works with a variety of funding sources of clients. Ability to assume a leadership role in supervising unlicensed staff and interns if requested.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
LCSW or MFT licensure
Two years experience in treating children who have experienced traumatic events and their and non-offending parents
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Eligible to be included on Managed Care Panels
Bilingual Spanish- English required - For those who meet this specific requirement, this position is eligible for some Relocation costs, Sign on Bonus and Referral bonus.
