ES Therapist: District 19 CSB

District 19 CSB is seeking a seasoned professional for a full-time Crisis Stabilization/Outpatient Therapist position located in Emporia, VA. Essential duties of this position include, but are not limited to: crisis screening for civil commitment, brief crisis intervention and counseling, follow-up of hospital and jail/prison discharges, and outpatient therapy.

Required qualifications include: Master’s degree in human services, clinical experience providing therapy services to consumers with mental health/substance abuse/co-occurring disorders, ability to make sound clinical decisions under stressful circumstances, and valid Virginia Driver’s License with acceptable driving record (or in State of residence if in N.C.). Preferred candidate will have crisis intervention experience and certification/eligibility as a crisis pre-screener. Starting salary commensurate with experience and training.
