SAP Systems Administrator: Ascendum

Ascendum is looking for a talented SAP Systems administrator to join our team of skilled information systems and technology consultants in the Cincinnati area.

Job Description:

Duties

· Under limited supervision, this person is responsible for supporting and maintaining infrastructure that support multiple applications including SAP in the MS/ Oracle Environment, Multi Tiered web applications and other client server based applications.

· The individual will perform these responsibilities in a local and wide area network, operating systems administration, client-server architecture, performance tuning, and change control management.

· This position monitors and maintains these systems.

· Performs systems Check and technical tasks; develops technical feasibility studies and proofs of concepts and provides some on-call technical support.

Job Requirements Include:

Minimum Education and Experience

· Associates Degree in computer science or information systems

· 5 years IT networking experience

· 2 years SAP Basis Administration with SAP ERP Netweaver 6.0. BPC 7.0, BW, Portals, and FI

· 2 years server administration where Microsoft/ Linux is housing SAP application

· Or equivalent experience

Technical Skills

· Excellent Working knowledge of Networking technologies and tools. Ability to Manage and troubleshoot enterprise level networks including MPLS, P2P, and VPN WAN's, as well as work in a data center environment.

· Knowledge of administration of SAP products including ERP Netweaver, BW, FI, and BPC 7.0.

· Must demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills

· Experience working in an SAP environment with Basis Administration Skills; including Server Monitoring, Backup management, and troubleshooting.
