We are located just minutes from beaches, mountain resort and Hollywood theaters. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Under the direction of the Dir. of Education Services with matrix reporting to the Admin. Dir.Women's and Children's Services, provides clinical, educational, and performance improvement leadership for personnel involved in the care of patients requiring NICU, PICU, Pediatric Services. Functions as a leader, practitioner, educator, consultant, and researcher. Bachelors Degree in Nursing required; Masters in Nursing required. Course work in adult learning principles, curriculum development, and evaluation of learning preferred. 5 yrs recent NICU, PICU and Pediatric nursing exp. 3 yrs progressive related clinical nursing leadership/educator experience preferred in acute care setting. Demonstrated skill and experience in implementing changes in healthcare environments, skill in effectively communicating with patients, families, health team members and the community. BLS, NRP, and PALS required; RN with current CA License. ANCC Certification in Pediatric Nursing preferred. Certification as an NRP and STABLE instructor preferred.
