Providence is calling RN's
The registered nurse performs services requiring substantial specialized knowledge of biological, physical, behavioral, psychological and sociological sciences based on nursing theory. The RN implements the nursing process in the promotion and maintenance of health, management of illness, injury, or infirmity; and restoration of optimum function. The role of the RN includes administrative functions, teaching, counseling, supervision, delegation, evaluation of nursing practice and administration medications and treatment prescribed by those practitioners so authorized by state law. Each nurse is directly accountable and responsible to the consumer for quality of nursing care rendered.
We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics.
This position is located at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA. This is a fulltime, day shift position 0700-1930)
REQUIREMENTS
Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure in the State of Washington as a Registered Nurse;BLS - Healthcare provider. ICU course, basic arrhythmia course and CCRN preferred. ACLS, PALS, TNCC training required - nurses who do not have the required training have eighteen months after hired into the position to obtain.
Experience: 2 years Med-Surg experience preferred. Previous critical care experience preferred.
Other Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members. Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong critical thinking skills.Answer the call to fulfill the Mission.
