Substance Abuse Counseling



Heritage Behavioral Health Center is a progressive and

comprehensive private not-for-profit behavioral health care

provider located in Decatur, Illinois.

are soliciting applications for the following:

ADDICTIONS THERAPIST: This full time position is available immediately providing individual and group substance abuse counseling (primarily adult) in an outpatient/residential setting. Occasional evening and weekend hours are required. Experience working with both substance abusing and mentally ill individuals, is highly recommended.

Minimum Bachelors degree in social service field is required; Masters degree highly recommended. CADC (IAODAPCA) certification/licensure required within two years of employment.

All Heritage positions require valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable means of transportation. In addition, criminal and DCFS background checks, and pre-employment drug test are required prior to employment.
