Established in 1990, Lucky Brand has become one of America's favorite denim brands with a sense of humor evident in its trademark "Lucky You" fly. Lucky Brand products are sold through its own 220 retail and outlet stores within the US, its company website (www.luckybrand.com), select group of high-end department and better specialty stores, and through international retail partners in Asia, Middle East, and Canada. This position will partner with the Art Director and key creative members of the organization to create brand-right copy for all facets of the Lucky Brand website, including homepage messaging, writing product descriptions, editorial content and email "blasts".
Responsibilities: •Be the voice of the brand through writing copy that communicates who the brand is and how it feels toward product and trend. •Develop key messaging for the home page, mens & womens landing pages, banners and email blasts which communicate the seasonal big ideas. •Partner with merchandising and the Art Director to create appropriate content which is reflective of the seasonal "pushes". •Write informative technical descriptions of product which illustrate the brand's attitude toward the product and the technical details (washes, hand embroideries, special care) •Align projects and objectives with the direction and strategy of marketing initiatives to maintain a consistent voice throughout all customer-facing marketing avenues. •Write editorial content as needed
Qualifications: •Minimum 4 years experience copywriting in a corporate environment, ad agency or design firm •BA required (Degree in Literature, Creative Writing preferred) •Must have experience writing copy for an Ecommerce site/online resource •Proficient in Microsoft Office
