Job Details Job Description The Banking Analyst position was created for individuals who are interested in assuming greater responsibilities and working in a fast paced environment. A BA’s job description ranges from administrative duties to junior analyst –level responsibilities. BA’s will work on research projects for their bankers and any additional challenging opportunities they wish to be involved in. Working alongside a group of junior-level bankers allows BA’s constant exposure to the ‘behind the scenes’ perspective of the investment banking industry. Requirements: - Ability to handle fluctuating priorities with efficiency and accuracy
- Ability to be proactive in managing existing priorities and seeking out additional responsibilities

- Knowledge of economics, finance or accounting is preferred but not required
Required Experience Experience - CFA/MBA/CA/BA with about 2-4 years of experience in financial research and analysis
- Experience in working with financial services and related organizations including brokerage firms, third party research outfits, investment banks, private equity firms, corporate finance firms, etc.
- Good understanding of reading financial statements, interpreting analyst transcripts and guidance coming from top management of corporations
- Experience in access and use of public information and proficiency with multiple proprietary third-party tools and databases
- Heavy quantitative analytical skills and experience
- Ability to use Excel etc. to build, populate, and maintain financial models
- Ability to write analytical commentary based on financial analysis and take a stance on buy/hold/sell positions
