Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Care and in addition to the duties of the Respiratory Care Staff - performs the activities of a Respiratory Care Supervisor in therapy procedures, the Blood Gas Laboratory, and diagnostics. Has an active role in in-service education and orientation programs; is responsible for scheduling to meet department needs; schedules and trains all new blood gas personnel; and assists the preparation of charges, inventory, maintenance and budget requests.

Graduate of approved AMA school for Respiratory Care.

· Currently state licensed (in states where required).

· Credentialled by the NBRC.

· Minimum of three years clinical experience is preferred
