Job Description:

Excellent opportunity for a health care professional to join the Quality Improvement team in the role of Quality Improvement Consultant. You will provide technical assistance, training, research support, project consulting and project management to all levels of the Medical Center. You will also coordinate improvement activities using accepted methodologies, including identification, measurement, analysis and the reporting of project results. The quality consultant establishes strong working relationships with interdisciplinary members of the health care team including the medical staff, nursing, administration and support services. The consultant also develops and presents data including executive summary reports, balanced score cards, and other reporting formats via the Committee structures as assigned.
Position Type: Full-Time Education/Special Skills Required: Requires a Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree preferred. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of three years Quality Improvement or related experience in a hospital/healthcare environment. Candidates without hospital/healthcare QI experience will NOT be considered for the position.
