Scientist Description
This position is based in Hopewell, NJ.
The Scientist will require a B.S. or B.A. in chemistry, biochemistry or biology with 2 to 4 years experience in clinical release, Long Term Stability Studies (LTSS), Usetime, reagents, IND to BLA level testing of protein compounds, lab-scale stability and in-process testing. The Scientist will be responsible for charactierization of protein molecules and the analysis, evaluation and documentation of data in compliance with cGLP/GMPs and departmental SOPs. The Scientist must have strong scientific, analytical and conceptual skills. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills will be necessary to work effectively in team settings.

Job Responsibilities
Perform multiple gel separation assays for
· Clinical release, Long Term Stability Studies (LTSS), Usetime, reagents, IND to BLA level testing of protein compounds, lab-scale stability, and in-process testing.
· Characterization of protein molecules.
· Generate Technical Documents.
· Data reporting and trending activities.
· Comply with GMP practice and the departmental procedures.
Minimal knowledge base/skill set requirements
· Knowledge of GMPs.
· Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
· Proficient in electrophoretic techniques (SDS) and other bioanalytical techniques.
· Proficient using computer/software for routine function and instrument operation.
· Knowledge of biology, protein chemistry.
· Use of densitometers and electrophoretic instruments
· Use of Data Collection and Reporting Software
