Position Description:
Provides leadership in Associate Relations including policy development & interpretation, legal issues, and counseling. Advises Management and Associates on workplace issues, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances, and terminations. Acts as Affirmative Action Officer. Analyzes and identifies resolution of disputes involving collective bargaining agreements.
Plans, directs and implements strategic recruitment and employment programs for PVHMC. Establishes and implements policies and procedures for recruitment, selection and placement. Oversees new employee orientation and communication strategies. Manages testing and selection of Associates; assuring compliance with EEO regulations. Maintains personnel files in compliance with accreditation agencies.
Job Description:
[Required] Bachelor's Degree is required in Business Administration, Nursing or related field. Must have 5 years in Human Resources or Nursing Management, with at least 5 years of progressive management experience. Ability to demonstrated expertise and extensive experience and judgment in a variety of concepts, practices and procedures in order to accomplish goals. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of management.
[Preferred] California R.N. License and/or knowledge of Employment Law.
