Job Description
Plans, organizes and directs branch activities including expanding existing member base, supervision of branch associates, maintenance of facilities, adherence to security and implementation of bank policies. Provides support for personal banking, lending and teller functions.
Lead and direct the branch in new business development efforts. Develop and implement marketing and business plans to ensure maximum development of DDA accounts; develop strategies that adjust to changing market conditions to increase market share. Maximize loan and deposit accounts by developing new business as well as maintaining present customers through aggressive sales and cross-selling.
Improve operational efficiencies of the branch to reduce overall “fee waiver” and increase fee income
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance or Banking required. Minimum 5 years banking experience to include 2 years branch management in a commercial bank, 2 years branch operations and 1 year lending; lending experience must include commercial real estate, commercial business loans/lines of credit, SBA, apartment and 1-4 mortgage loans.
Thorough knowledge of federal/state and IRS regulations. Contingent upon location, bilingual skills (Mandarin and Taiwanese) may be required to interact with members. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must be proactive and motivated with a high customer service orientation and a solutions-oriented approach. Must be highly organized with strong ability to multi-task. Able to plan, organize and monitor activities according to priories. Ability to develop and train staff in operations, customer services, sales, security, and ensure compliance with established bank policies, procedures and requirements. Lead others in the achievement of the organization’s goals and mission. Demonstrated personal computer proficiency with spreadsheet (MS Excel) and word processing (MS Word) applications is required. Ability to workends.
