Job Description
Reporting to the Site Controller & Director, Project Management, the Project Management Supervisor will be responsible for leading the project management group to achieve world class success in the development of new products. Will involve direct day to day supervision of Project Managers and accountability for project implementation and success.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as the liaison between Sales, Senior Management, and the Project Manager for communicating expectations and delivering results.
- Assist with guidance and input on all aspects of project team including financials, timelines, sourcing, team dynamics and customer service
- Mentor Project Managers to provide strong leadership for project specific teams
- Lead or assist in leadesrhip of project teams for complex multistep projects
- Assist with evaluation of new business opportunities, including detailed cost analysis
- Ensure that projects are effectively executed on time/on budget
- Maintain a high level of positive and effective communication with customers, team members, management and outside sales representatives
Job Qualifications
- A degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, with 5 or more years of experience in a pharmaceutical arena
- Experience with overall management and responsibility for new product development project teams
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations
- Direct customer contact and relationship management
- Skills managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Understanding of business plans and financial impacts
- High attention to detail with ability to multi-task multiple projects within the group
- Windows based computer knowledge
