HR Benefits - Wellness Analyst
In the role, you will be responsible for the planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, the administration of all components of Boston Scientific’s Disease Management and Wellness Program. You will review specific programs to determine measures of success and analyze outcomes to determine program effectiveness. While working with the health plans, wellness and disease management vendor and local stakeholders, you will provide data-based recommendations for new health improvement initiatives on a corporate- and location-based platform.
Some roles and responsibilities include designing, coordinating and executing programs to support the Wellness program, analyze data to identify appropriate wellness initiatives and review existing local and corporate programs and provide recommendations to enhance wellness objectives.
You will provide education and motivate employees to adapt healthier lifestyles through participating in the Program; develop and implement assessment plans to determine the population health and lifestyle needs; assemble data to design a strategic Program that includes the five key outcomes areas (clinical, behavioral, process, satisfaction, and financial). This role will oversee program delivery while integrating cost-containment and cost-effectiveness aspects; evaluate the vendor(s) and coordinate program delivery and quality control of vendor(s) as well as evaluate quality and effectiveness of programs and services on a regular basis for improvement: observe, compare, and monitor data to determine compliance and efficacy of determined interventions in five outcome areas: clinical, behavioral, process, satisfaction, and financial.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in wellness, exercise science/physiology, health management or related field with 5-7 years related work experience in creating, implementing and managing health/wellness programs. You must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of the organization, meet deadlines, possesses integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in handling confidential information. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated the ability to multitask, lead/teach health-related courses, and manage third-party vendors.
PC skills required include Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Access. Specific knowledge of health and wellness programming as defined through National Health Coaching and Health Promotion standards is also required.
