Belo Interactive Media is seeking a creative Interface Developer to work on one of Northern Texas ’ largest Web sites. This is an opportunity for you to have an impact on a site seen by millions of visitors every month, with a career path that grows as your skills grow. This position works on the day-to-day development and maintenance of the Dallas Morning News web sites. This will include designing/develop new navigation, interfaces for applications, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring others on best practices.

Experience with Javascript, XHTML, DHTML, XML, XSL and CSS

User Interfaces development experience and a passion for state-of-the-art, cutting edge UIs

Understanding of cross-browser compatibility (Microsoft IE, Netscape, Safari, and Firefox)

Experience with Macromedia Dreamweaver, or similar web editing tools

Experience with PhotoShop or similar tools (for basic graphics manipulation)

Understanding of current marketplace standards, technologies, and trends
