Financial Analyst: Riverside Healthcare

The Financial Analyst will provide decision support for Riverside Medical Group, a medical practice group with over 50 providers and encompassing multiple specialties. Job duties will include developing and preparing financial analyses, financial projections and reports used by management in decision-making process. In addition, functions will include development and implementation of physician compensation models. Candidate will also monitor physician employment contracts. Candidate must have solid skills in preparing and communicating financial and statistical information.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required with 1-3 years' experience in a healthcare setting highly preferred. Position reports to the Corporate Director of Finance. Qualified candidates should have a clinical or patient account background with fundamental knowledge of the Revenue Cycle process, including rules and regulations pertaining to hospital and physician reimbursement and insurance claim billing/collection practices. A basic knowledge of medical terminology and coding would be helpful, proficiency in Excel; excellent technical, analytical and communication skills; and a demonstrated ability to problem solve using sound judgement are other skills highly preferred.

Shift: 5 shifts per week. Day hours - 8 am - 4:30 pm. Rare weekends/holidays
