Overview:


The Loss Prevention Manager, is responsible for ensuring that the location operates efficiently and achieves our shortage goals. The scope of this responsibility will include asset protection, payroll expense management, management of security staff and directing the execution of shortage initiatives, investigations and surveillances.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Implement store shortage prevention and awareness programs.
  • Ensure selling floor security standards are maintained.
  • Monitor internal and external case productivity and recoveries.
  • Conduct investigations.
  • Manage department payroll expense.
  • Recruit, hire and retain qualified, professional security staff.
  • Train, motivate and develop security team to reach their fullest potential and to maximize business opportunities.
  • Ensure all procedures, policies, exposure standards and shortage awareness programs are thoroughly understood by security team.
  • Clearly communicate store and company objectives, ensuring both management and staff are well informed.
Skills Summary:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of security management experience, preferably at the district or regional management level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership profile, with the ability to coach and motivate a team
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
