Functional Description:
Part-time Webmaster: This request is for a PTE to completely redesign and maintain the existing external Palmdale Water District web site, create an internal intranet, conduct daily maintenance of both sites, and other tasks as assigned.
Education and Typical Years Experience
Education: AA or higher in Computer Information Systems or Graphic Design
Years of Experience: 1-3 years of experience
Special Requirements
Webmaster must have experience integrating web applications with Microsoft SQL databases. Webmaster must be able to securely integrate the new web site with the current utility billing system (Cogsdale Customer Service Maintenance) and online credit card processing for payments. The webmaster must be able to insure the new site is designed and hardened to meet current best practices, standards and meet PCI compliance. The webmaster will create the new web site to meet ADA compliance. Webmaster must have experience with Microsoft Share Point.
