Mental health clincians needed throughout Alaska (youth, adults, seniors)



Need working knowledge about principles and techniques of offering therapy to people who may have autism, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, and/or other developmental disabilities. May work with youth, adults, and/or elders with mental health and substance abuse issues. Cultural awareness of Alaska Native preferred, but will train. General knowledge of social work principles. Knowledge also of scope and activities of public and private health and welfare agencies: community, state and federal resources available to clients and their families. Crisis intervention, skill development, family and individual counseling abilities needed.

Ability to establish and maintain the cooperation of clients, families, and others on client's team. Ability to pass background check and much more, depending on agency you apply with.
