Accounting Manager: Accountants Intl.

Looking for an Accounting Manager to ensure the general operations of the Accounting department, to include monitoring the portfolio's monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements close, daily operations of accounts payables, and other accounting activities such as account reconciliations, analysis and audit support.

· Audits department accuracy of financial and operating statements through preparation of financial and operating statements of at least four properties per month.

· Ensures timely and accurate analysis and financial review of all property budgets and financial statements

· Assists the Director of Finance in the Year End Process, to include gathering data and reports needed by the company's Certified Public Accountant and independent auditors.

· Under guidance from the Director of Finance, manages and maintains bank and lender reporting requests

This position is will supervise an accounting team, including Portfolio Accountants and Accounts Payables.

Bachelors Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree, MBA or CPA preferred, and 10 years of hands on experience in accounting/finance, with 5 years in a supervisory capacity in managing up to 5+ employees. Working knowledge of accounting software such as Great Plains and FRx, problem solving skills, financial analysis skills.
