ACS Healthcare Solutions (www.acs-hcs.com), has an opportunity for a Project Manager with Cerner Millennium applications implementations experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management experience with design, build, implementation and upgrade of multiple Cerner Millennium applications:
CareNet, CCL Programming, CORE/charge services, Document Imaging, FirstNet, iNET, iVIEW, Medical Device Interface (MDI), PathNet, PharmNet, PowerChart, PowerChart Office, PowerForms, ProFile, ProFit, RadNet, Security, SurgiNet
- Participates in or leads cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects.
- Plans and directs schedules and may monitor budget/spending.
- Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
- Responsible for coordinating the delivery of professional services to customers.
- Responsibilities include the overall planning, organizing, directing, controlling and delivery of all projects prioritized in alignment with the client’s expectations and business needs.
- Ensures the ongoing process/system capability associated with projects and manages any changes required to meet or exceed the expectations established in project designs
- Experience with Requirements Definition, System Testing, Training and Activation/Go-Live Support.
- Strong knowledge of workflow in an acute-care and/or ambulatory setting.
- Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
- Experience with MS office software, and Microsoft operating environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- PMP/PMI a plus.
- Clinical experience: Nursing, Radiology, Laboratory or Pharmacy a plus.
- Up to 80% travel is required for this position, however, relocation is not.
