Engineer General Atomics has a need for a dynamic and skilled individual for the following position located in Aiken, SC: Engineer In this role, the chosen candidate will be relied on to prepare test plans, standard operating procedures and reports for process-equipment reliability and maintainability testing in the Aiken, SC area. Key functions will include providing engineering support for equipment specification, assembly, checkout, systemization, performance testing and troubleshooting. Involves working with project team members to integrate lessons learned into plant operating procedures. At the completion of testing, the Engineer will transition to the position of Plant Operator, with activities extending through the first year of plant operation. This position requires a candidate with a minimum of a BS degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of related experience. Experience with process development or experience in the nuclear power or hazardous waste industry is a plus. Must be willing to work in Aiken, SC.
