SHIP FITTER / SHIPFITTER: Ameri-Force, Inc.

Qualifications

• You must be able to do new layouts, fabrication, and repair work as needed
• You must be able to tack weld, cut, and read blueprints
• You must pass a customer provided test as a ship fitter prior to employment
• You must have a minimum of 3 years as a shipfitter with no gaps in employment (some positions require a minimum of 5 years experience)
• You must be able to work any shift, any day, and overtime as required
• You must pass a drug screening and may be required to pass a criminal background check

In addition:

• You must be able to provide required PPE & tools needed for a ship fitter
• You must present an official picture ID
• You must present a valid Social Security card (non-laminated)
• You must present proof of residency
• You may be required to present a birth certificate
• You must be eligible to work in the United States (in some locations U.S. citizenship is required)
