Job Description:
Participates on a cross-functional team to maintain and enhance functionality of a full featured client/server web application. Excellent understanding of OOP concepts is a must, as is knowledge of multi-layered application design and implementation, client/server interaction in the age of *Web 2.0,* component analysis / design / development / implementation / maintenance.. Responsibilities include documenting business and system requirements following an Agile systems development methodology. Implements technical solutions following SCRUM development practices and using primarily Java products/technologies
Required Skills:
Ideal candidates will have practical experience with the following:
Experience with Agile methodology, Scrum techniques and Test Driven Development with test suites like JUnit
Experience with: ANT, CVS, Subversion, Eclipse
Experience with relational databases and related technologies such as Oracle
Experience with WebLogic, Glassfish
Demonstrated knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies like YUI, Prototype, Google Web Toolkit, Dojo
Experienced with Java EE based web technology stack including JSP, Servlets, Hibernate
Knowledgeable of the Spring framework, including persistence, async processing, web presentation layer
Desired Skills:
Solid skills with MS Office products.
Experience with both Windows and LINUX operating systems.
Ability to operate independently and with minimal guidance.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills are required to include experience in technical writing,
senior leader briefings preparation/presentation and direct customer interface.
Required Education(including Major): MS degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or MIS. BS degree with experience may be substituted in lieu of advanced degree
Must be able to obtain and maintain and U.S. SECRET Security Clearance
