Jimmy Jazz/Man Alive, one of the leading retail stores that offers its customers trendsetting, upscale, urban apparel and footwear in a setting of full-service shops featuring elite brands is seeking a Store Manager and Assistant Manager for it's Macon, Georgia location.
This position reports to the District Manager and oversees the Co-Manager, Assistant Manager and all Staff Associates.
All candidates must fulfill the following requirements in order to be considered for the position:
· Higher Education (College or Jr. College) degree or its equivalent:
· 5+ years of related, transferable, Retail Apparel Store Management experience (experience with urban apparel required).
· Projects professionalism in speech, image and conduct.
· Proper understanding of the importance of quality Customer Service and Selling.
· Strong Human Resource skills; a proven history of recruiting, hiring and developing a staff.
· The ability to delegate tasks effectively and get results.
· The ability to build the business and drive sales.
· Strong execution of operations, merchandising and administration tasks.
· An understanding of the importance of Expense Management and Asset Protection and their effect on the business.
· The ability to meet the physical requirements to execute the position's responsibilities, including but not limited to:
o Ability to utilize a 4-foot, 6-foot and 8-foot ladder
o Ability to handle cartons weighing up to 50 lbs.
