Sirit Technology is looking for a qualified Embedded Software Engineer in North Carolina



Sirit (www.sirit.com) is a leading provider of RFID solutions worldwide. We are looking for a talented, nimble, and enthusiastic embedded software engineer to contribute to the development and support of our current and next generation products. The successful candidate will become a key member of a closely knit development team and will interface with members of management and support services.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability to quickly get up to speed on new technology and investigate complex problem spaces.
• Demonstrated ability to convert general marketing requirements into detailed and targeted feature design specifications.
• Develop, integrate, and test high quality, embedded software solutions.
• Effective communication skills for both internal and external audiences.
• Must be a team player.

Education and Experience

• Requires a minimum of BSEE/BSCE/BSCS.
• 5-10 years experience
• Embedded C and assembly software.
• Embedded Linux.
• Device drivers, control plane, and device management experience.
• Well versed with the tools and techniques utilized to isolate and repair issues in embedded systems, including general knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
• Communications theory and/or digital signal processing experience is a plus.
• Wireless systems experience is a plus.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Familiarity with Subversion or similar source control systems, CYGWIN, scripting languages such as Python or Perl



Candidate must be legally entitled to work in the USA on a permanent basis. Relocation and sponsorship are not available for this position.
