Technical Account Manager (Investment Management)

Take your accounting knowledge and join the premier real estate investment software provider in the industry. This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced real estate investment accountant to join our Investment Management Team. Work with our team of developers, project managers and consultants to assist large institutional investment clients implement our software as their solution for financial reporting. Work closely with the team that defines financial requirements, ensures program designs, meets requirements, tests, documents, and trains clients on new business process and/or system changes. Yardi Account Managers spend their days with clients teaching them how to use our system, helping them determine the best ways to fit their business model into our application, and executing project plans.

Preferred skills include: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting or finance, plus 3-4 years of accounting experience. Real estate investment level and property management accounting preferred with an understanding of GAAP and consolidations in a multi-entity real estate environment. Knowledge in Real Estate Information Standards, NCREIF and AIMR performance returns, preferred returns and waterfalls calculations, tax knowledge and valuations, a plus. Additional required skills include the ability to handle clients effectively escalating issues, handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines, flexibility, and technical aptitude, as well as, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Previous experience in software training and implementation is a big plus.
