IDC Manager Job Description:
The vacancy is for a position as a program manager in a rapidly growing program. To start, the position will be responsible for directly performing the listed activities. The position will evolve over time, and the candidate will have the opportunity to grow along with the program.
1. Program Management
a. Provides management oversight for a business unit servicing multiple clients in the area of Data Entry and Data Capture.
b. Responsible for achieving measurable results on time and on budget
c. Manages intercompany agreements and subcontracts for the performance of data processing services to our client(s).
d. Establishes operational objectives and work plans and manages operational assignments across the program.
e. Provides leadership and focus across the program
f. Develops and monitors systems and services that support ACS and program needs.
g. Develops and subsequently implements new policies and procedures for the program to meet specific goals.
h. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
i. Audits current procedures to monitor effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
2. Quality Assurance
a. Ensures effective achievement of objectives by maintaining a comprehensive quality assurance program and supporting staff.
b. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
c. Responsible for managing program performance across direct operations and subcontracts in accordance with service level agreements in accordance with client contracts, ACS policy and procedure, and applicable laws and regulations.
3. Program Reporting
a. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning functional areas and client’s satisfaction.
b. Prepares reports related to program financial status, schedule, service levels, and compliance.
c. Conducts program analysis to support operational enhancements, program forecasting, and improved program planning.
d. Surveys clients for and reports on customer satisfaction.
Education and Experience Requirements:
a. Eight years experience in program and/or operations management
Special Requirements:
a. Superior Written and Verbal Communications Skills. Appropriate for a wide variety of settings, such as describing competing concepts, explaining technical and operational constraints, and concisely presenting the results of complex analysis.
b. Strong Quantitative Skills
Including analytic, diagnostic, and statistical; and the ability to apply those skills and abilities to new situations.
c. Seasoned Management Skills
Developed over a period of time managing teams on projects on increasing complexity.
d. Work Ethic
A willingness and ability to work long hours with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels within and without ACS including the ability to change thinking or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship.
e. High Tolerance for Ambiguity
Candidate’s ability to contribute to the program will depend upon strong adaptive job skills and the ability to keep multiple, conflicting ideas under consideration as work is conducted. Candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic work environment
(changing by the day or week).
May perform one or more of the following: Plans, organizes, directs, and controls transaction processing operations. Analyzes workflow and assignments to ensure operations run efficiently. Provides direction to staff members in resolving problems which arise with internal or external customers. Meets with customers to determine needs, solicit feedback on service levels and implement solutions to address issues. All other duties as assigned.
