Job Description
At United Commercial Bank, Branch Managers lead and direct the branch in new business development efforts by developing and implementing marketing and business plans to ensure maximum development of DDA accounts as well as maximizing loan and deposit accounts by developing new business and maintaining present customers through aggressive sales and cross-selling. The Branch Manager will develop strategies that adjust to changing market conditions in order to increase market share, promote a "sales and servcie" culture, oversee cross-selling efforts of branch operations staff and facilitate staff referrals of bank products and services. Additionally, the Branch Manager will actively participate in events that demonstrate support for the community, promote the Bank's image and develop/foster business opportunites.
Skills/Requirements
The successful candidate will posess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Banking and have a minimum of 5 years of banking experience. Banking experience should include 2 years of branch management, 2 years of branch operations and 1 year of lending experience that includes Commercial Real Estate, Commercial Business Loans/Lines of Credit and SBA. Bi-lingual skills (Manadarin or Korean) are preferred, but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to lead others in the achievement of the organization's goals and mission are required.
