Banner Churchill Community Hospital, employing more than 400 health care professionals, has the most comprehensive array of medical services in the Lahontan Valley area. Our facility is located in Fallon, Nevada, a place of natural rustic beauty with a four season climate that offers a recreational wonderland.

The pay opportunity is $32.21 - 48.32 per hour depending on experience. New graduate RNs will not be considered for this position.

Assesses, analyzes plans, intervenes in and evaluates the care of the perioperative patient. Under the direct supervision of the Surgeon, the CRNFA assists in performing surgical procedures. Utilizes clinical expertise in performing comprehensive assessments throughout the surgical case as well as during the immediate pre- and post-operative period.

Service excellence is demonstrated by consistently exhibiting the BHS Standards in the performance of the job.

Education/Experience:

Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada, with 3 to 4 years of experience in Peri-operative Services. Must be proficient in both scrub and circulating roles. In addition, must be a Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant. Ability to apply principles of asepsis and infection control and knowledge of surgical anatomy and physiology. The ability to perform well during stressful situations is mandatory as well as the ability to react and take appropriate action to any surgical situation within the scope of practice.
Technical Skills:

Understands and is able to troubleshoot equipment in the Surgery Department including: Cardiac Monitor, Infusion Pumps, Hemodynamic Monitoring Equipment, Sequential Compression Devices, Warming Devices, Blood Warming Devices, Laparoscopic Equipment, Endoscopic Equipment, Intraoperative Instrumentation, Patient Positioning Devices, Electrocautery Devices. Working knowledge of the Windows environment; working knowledge of Intranet and Internet technology is preferred.
Other qualifications/certificate/license:

BCLS. ACLS, TNCC and AORN (preferred).
