Global, publicly traded companies seeking General Ledger Accountant(s):

Job Responsibilities

-Work closely with GL team on Month-end closings

-Responsible for all fixed asset accounts, including monthly additions, transfers, disposals, depreciation, and monthly reconciliations

-Mediate and record salary and overhead transfer transactions between other intercompany groups

-Cross-train with intercompany liaison on standard process and procedures

-Prepare and post journal entries, prepare AP accrual entries

-Assist in detailed general ledger account analyses, reconciliations and variance reporting

-Respond timely to all requests from external and/or internal auditors, management, and corporate

-Assist in review, modification or creation of internal control processes

-Maintain compliance with company and regulatory requirements

-Bank and GL account reconciliations

-Maintain monthly journal entries and account analysis binders

Qualifications

Bachelors in Accounting or Finance, minimum 2 yrs General Ledger experience, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Dedicated team member with capacity to exercise independent judgment,

Proven ability to organize and prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met, Meticulous attention to detail, strong work ethic, and acknowledged ownership of deliverables,Self starter with a desire to take on new challenges, Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
