Smith Hanley Consulting Group currently has a position available for a GMP/GLP Document Specialist to fulfill a 5 month contract position in St Louis, MO.

Job duties:

Applicant would be responsible for locating, reviewing, and organizing GMP documentation related to the manufacture and testing of Biologics. Good attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. GMP records and related supporting documentation will be scanned into electronic files and uploaded into the Global Document Management System (GDMS). GDMS document tasks include population of required metadata fields and routing of documents for approval. Supporting hard copies will be formally turned into the STL documentation retention center or sent off-site to a long-term storage archive.

Qualifications:

  • This is a contract/temporary position requiring a BS degree
  • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate and bring to closure numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Must have awareness of cGMP and good laboratory practices.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently
  • Experience with Microsoft windows based applications such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and master new applications software.
  • Demonstrate the ability to actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary project team - daily contacts are primarily with their immediate supervisor and members of Quality Assurance.

Desirable:

Technical and/or regulatory experience with biotechnology products, including mammalian biologics
