Full Job Description:

Oversee contract team support for the Enterprise Architecture task, reporting to the contract Program Manager, and working with the contract team EA SME and the NHLBI Chief Enterprise Architect

Develop and/or oversee development of architecture models for all major CBI projects

Coordinate the efforts of the Business, Data, and Systems Architects on developing the top level architectures for enterprise level projects

Coordinate the efforts of the Business, Data, and Systems Architects on stage gate reviews of all projects

Develop program plan and draft program related artifacts

Guide the implementation of SOA framework for systems development

Develop, support and facilitate EA governance in a federal context

Oversee EA staff of 2-3 FTEs

Skills & Experience Required:

2+ years experience with Model Driven Architecture methods and tools

2+ years experience implementing enterprise architecture under industry leading methodologies and frameworks such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF) and FSAM (Federal Segment Architecture Methodology)

Experience designing service oriented systems

Experience with Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) processes

Experience with Business Process Modeling / Re-engineering

Experience with Data Modeling

Computer Science degree required

Bio-informatics and/or Health Care IT experience

NIH experience

US Citizenship or Green Card required

No Clearance required, but must be able to pass a full background check
