Visual Expansion Merchandiser - For Accessories Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Washington D.C.
Description: Travel worldwide or nationwide for new store openings to ensure merchandising presentation Coordinate in receiving, opening, unpacking and putting garments onto the selling floor Ensures that all merchandise is represented on the sales floor and well stocked for grand openings Styling of all mannequins and torsos in store Presents garments according to corporate visual values and latest fashion trends Provide strategic and motivational visual leadership for assigned new store openings Responsible for visual aspects of all new store openings Communicate with Visual Managers and District Managers to ensure company wide consistency
Requirements: 2-5 years of Visual Merchandising and mannequin styling experience in junior apparel retail environment Retail management experience is a plus Excellent leadership and training skills required 90 % travel, occasional weekends (100% flexibility to travel) Must be able to work in a vigorous fast paced environment Must be able to work independently and be self motivated Detail orientated Knowledge of fashion and textiles Ability to forecast trends Highly fashion forward
