Full Job Description:
Successful candidate will manage a multibillion dollar IDIQ (Indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity) for Paragon, manage client interaction, manage the task orders where Paragon is prime, lead the teaming (partnering) decisions, and is responsible for ensuring Paragon has success with marketing this IDIQ. He/she must have experience with public healthcare sector, GWAC contracts, IDIQ management, marketing, and proposal development. Having a list of contacts within HHS, preferably FDA, is a plus. Candidate will be required to lead and support proposals for task orders, proposal writing, capture, and new business development support. Client relationship management is a must. Knowledge of Federal Government procurement process, budgeting and funding process. Knowledgeable in issues affecting federal IT community and federal IT requirements. Understanding of IT competitive environment and strong contacts in federal IT supplier market. Candidate will work closely with and provide support to senior management in negotiations, risk assessment and other business development (BD) projects in association with this IDIQ as well as other BD initiatives.. Working knowledge of Business Development lead identification software such as SalesForce. Understanding of Business Development process leading to capture of Federal Government business. Must be a team player. No solo players. Ability to develop business relationships through professional, business and customer networking events.
Must have experience with one of the following sectors:
Public Healthcare Sector: Special focus in HHS, VA, and other healthcare related agencies such as Navy Medical Center is preferred
Requirements: • 5-10 years BD experience • Experience writing or responding to RFI's RFP's and Task order proposals • Experience in solutions selling in an information technology services environment • Proven experience in formulating capture strategies against specific targets, and developing account plans • M/S office suite skills, Word, PPT, Excel etc. • Ability to multi-task, and planning skills are required. • Follow-up and closing skills **U.S. Citizenship is required***
