Purchasing - Professional



Ours is an immediate opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Professional where this role is central to cost control.​ We seek initiative and experience as keys to the success of our selected candidate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Vendor Negotiations - must be experienced
  • Strength in organization, follow-through, ensuring adherence to established Purchasing policies and making changes/improvements as necessary
  • Must have strong business ethics
  • Required: detail-orientation as well as having broad overview with ability to manage both.

Requirements:

  • Four year degree
  • Minimum five years experience ideally with manufacturing background
  • Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, etc
  • APICS, CPM or CPIM a plus
