IT Quality Assurance Analyst: Progressive Insurance

The initial and primary focus of the Quality Assurance Analyst (QAA) filling this position will be on the Automated Notification and Dialer Applications (ANDA). ANDA provides dialing solutions in an effort to reach specific audiences using telephony technology. The services ANDA provides includes predictive premise-based attended dialing, automated hosted unattended dialing, dialer record management engine, dialing centric desktop call center tools, and data and reporting services. The systems are extremely technical and require a QAA who possesses a technical aptitude.

Required:
*Ability to understand and utilize SQL:
-Basic understanding of relational tables and how they link.
-Ability to write and execute SELECT SQL queries utilizing sorts/orders/grouping and field names.
-Ability to analyze data by viewing in SQL Management Studio or DB2 screens.
-Ability to communicate to Development and Business Systems Analyst using field names and values from SQL queries.
-Ability to export/import data to/from various tables.
-Ability to apply SQL skills to both Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2 systems.

*Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements within Quality Assurance (QA).

*Work experience reflecting that you ensure testing strategies, methodologies, standards and best practices are documented, communicated and adhered to during your QA effort.

*Experience working with a project team that includes various roles such as Project Management, Business Systems Analyst and Development.

*Four year college degree in Computer Science or related field in Information Technology (IT).

Preferred:
- Ability to use a common Windows application.
- An understanding of common telephony technology.
- Competency in the various types of application testing including those with and without a user interface (UI).
