Medical Grant Writer



Great opportunity exists at an expanding, shoreline medical education company for an experienced Part-Time or Full-Time Medical Grant Writer. Responsibilities of this position include research and writing within various therapeutic areas and educational projects. Projects range from researching and drafting grants, developing PowerPoint presentations with speaker notes, the development of needs assessments to being involved in capabilities presentations. Overnight travel, including weekends may be required.

Full-time employees receive a generous benefit package including four weeks of paid vacation, medical/dental insurance, company paid short-term and long-term disability insurance, group term life insurance and a company matched 401(k) plan.

Requirements
Competencies should include expertise in AMA style and use of software, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Successful candidates will have a minimum of at least 3 years of medical writing experience, be very deadline oriented, and have a Master’s degree, PhD, or PharmD degree in the medical/pharmacological sciences.
