Description
PURPOSE:
Coordinates the plan and build of make parts in the Manufacturing area. Reviews suggested buy parts signal from SAP and coordinates the order and delivery with Purchasing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Creates production build plans
· Sets up, maintains and audits electronic Kanban boards.
· Recommend delivery schedules and quantities for raw material components.
· Participates and completes a monthly Sales and Operations Planning handshake with Manufacturing.
· Identifies and communicates constraints and performance to plan.
· Responsible for excess and obsolete inventories.
· Maintains master data.
· Must comply with requirements of ISO 14001 and BSC Environmental, Health and Safety standards and follow procedures and instructions related to these standards.
· Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this position you must have the following qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and/or SKILLS
- Three years experience in manufacturing planning, production & inventory control, demand planning and/or Supply Chain.
- Strong working knowledge of planning systems (preferably SAP).
- Exemplary PC (Excel/Access) skills.
- Strong aptitude for problem identification and resolution as well as a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and perform all tasks with a high degree of urgency and accuracy.
- Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: The following are qualifications that we would prefer candidates to have.
- Bachelor's degree,
- APICS Certification a plus
