Messaging Engineer: TAC Worldwide

JOB DESCRIPTION:

TAC Worldwide is searching for a messaging engineer for a 4 month project in Chandler , AZ.

• The ideal candidate will have a high level knowledge of windows operating system, knowledge of 3rd party application environments regarding messaging (archiving, email controls, encryption, etc).
• The individual should be able to deploy, administer, monitor and troubleshoot in a complex messaging environment in accordance with industry accepted Best Practices.
• Candidate should have experience working in a large corporate environment (20,000 plus users) where the team must administer systems to known corporate policies regarding security, audit, and change control processes.
• The engineering team is responsible for designing, documenting and maintaining a complex environment.
• Be able to perform research, evaluation and documentation duties on hardware, applications, operating systems and data network problems for both individual users and server/LAN environments.
• Be the escalation point for the production support staff and to respond to support questions from less experienced staff.
• The candidate will be working on an incremental funded project regarding version updates, compliance reporting and mailing routing for an email archiving application. They will also be responsible for maintaining the lab virtual environment (scheduling, assignment, allocation).
