Body Shop Technicians (Gulf Freeway) Description:
Champion Chevrolet is looking for a body technician for a busy body shop!
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform work as outlined on repair estimates with effiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs.
Advise bodyshop estimator of additional damage or supplemental needs or if repairs will not be completed on time.
Road test vehicles to ensure quality repair.
Supervise work of any apprentice technicians.
Keep shop area neat and clean.
Wear eye, ear and back protection when appropriate.
Understand and follow Federal,State and Local regulations, such as those governing the storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
Maintain I-car or ASE certifications
Required Experience:
Ideal candidates will have:
Two years automotive mechanical experience or automotive tradeSchool (I-Car Certification)
Professional work ethic
Great attitude
Superior customer service skills
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Trade School
