Position Description:
Positions in this function include those responsible for initial triage of members, administrative intake of members, working with dialysis units and the clinical team, including placing outbound calls to providers to obtain information and clarification, researching demographic information and performing follow up work, initial member intake and case assignment, identify and transcribe specified lab and clinical information, communicate information to the case manager and managing incoming calls.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Initial member intake and case assignment
- Placing outbound calls to providers to obtain information
- Researching demographic information and performing follow up work for the Case Manages
- Identify and transcribe specified lab and clinical information. Communicate this information to the case manager
- Manage incoming calls
- Scheduling appointments and preparing correspondence

Qualifications:
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required, proficiency a plus
- 1+ years of knowledge or familiarity with medical terminology
- 1+ years experience working in a administrative or clerical role within office environment
- 1+ years Experience interacting with internal/external clients or customers
- 1+ years handling information of a very sensitive and confidential nature
- Associates Degree, preferred
- Bi-lingual is a plus ( Spanish/English)
- Working as part of a virtual team a plus
