Come join our team! OMNISEC International Investigations, Inc. a subsidiary of OMNIPLEX is seeking qualified applicants for upcoming openings for Case Assigners for Corporate Headquarters in Chantilly, VA. These opportunities are anticipated to become available around March 2010 timeframe.
Job Duties: Verify case documentation and process assignments for transmission to investigators; track cases sent via the mail system; determine the necessity of TDY (temporary duty) assignments; sssign cases via Portal system, or telephone as appropriate; complete Letter of Assignment (LOA) detailing investigative requirements, locations, and deadlines; respond to investigator queries; record assignments in investigative database.
Basic Qualifications:
- Current or previous experience working on the Air Force Personnel Security contract preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience; knowledge of the background investigation process with previous experience in background investigations a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills, including ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or schedule form.
- Good knowledge of U.S. geography and ability to read street maps.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and have a good customer service attitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet and E-mail.
- Must be able to pass security screening interview.
- Must have a current Secret, SSBI U.S. Government Security Clearance.
