Food & Drug Business Development Manager
Duties and Responsibilities · Develop and Manage Food & Drug (F&D) EAS Tag/Label business sales unit. · Creation and execution of detailed business plan that strategically positions product offerings in the F&D vertical market while achieving annual and quarterly company revenue objectives. · Responsibilities will cover all facets of Strategic Business Development, identifying core and new business opportunities, identifying strategic partners, initiating conversation, clearly identifying requirements, negotiating terms and closing business. · Develop and maintain close working relationships with internal and external resources and partners. · Articulate appropriately at executive levels all product features and benefits that clearly demonstrates recommended solutions achieving and exceeding customer requirements and expectations.
Attributes and Skills · Results oriented. · Proven successful sales track record · Ability to manage concurrent projects of diverse complexity and scope. · Self motivated, competitive and goal oriented possessing a high energy drive to close business and exceed assigned business objectives. · Possess strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills. · Ability to work through customer objections with conviction and confidence. · Strong track record of working effectively on a team.
Background and Experience · Successful Food and Drug vertical market sales background. · Loss Prevention and EAS Source Tagging experience preferred. · Must have experience of successfully closing and managing sales to large corporations , ideally in the retail market place with vertical industry experience. · 5+ years of sales business development. · Excellent analytical skills along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
